Personal Zombie Survival Guide

Zombie survival becomes a hot topic in these years, and people do come up with designs of various refuges, different idea of escaping or methods to fight against zombie.

I personally conclude all of those thoughts into three elements:

1. Mobility -- Waiting for the military to save you is the worst decision. From every movie, book, or webpage I have read about, if someone stays in a bunker, eventually, the zombies will locate him/her and break into the bunker, because first of all, the military never comes (if one hides himself/herself very well, probably he/she hides from the military; second, the zombies outnumbers human beings tremendous (otherwise, it is not so called apocalypse), they can find one by smelling or bumping into; third, there will always be stupid refugees ending up ruin your shelter (like the communist saying "undermine the capitalism from inside") .

2. Armor/Resistance -- in the other (non-gaming) word, have a defense system. The premise of mobility is defense. Do not walk around in nudity. Please drive a armed vehicle. If one has no access to an ironman suit/ batman suit, at least one should cover all the skins. One wound will lead to infection, which none of us would like to see.

3. Damage output -- ammunition. If bazooka or AK-47 is not available, one should get a rifle or pistol. Also,    hammer, baseball bat armed with nails or other blunt will be very helpful in short distance combat. The point of damage output is to reduce the number of zombies that hinder one from escaping.

Have faith in human being! We have spent millions of years to climb up to the top of the food chain ( ugh, I'm not meaning to consume zombies), we will adapt to the new situation. There is going to be a new leader who will unite the rest human being to develop a cure and rebuild the world.

But, but, but, none of the above makes senses after I saw this:

  1. Hi,
That picture is perfect, I feel like it does an excellent job of pointing out the sillyness of many zombie films. I also agree with your points on the best way to survive. It seems like zombies never get you through their speed or combat skills, but through their endurance and pure overwhelming numbers. Many movies never accurately push the point that the true terror in zombies is that they will never stop coming, and ultimately it may be your exaustion from running for so long that does you in.
